The August release of People® is ready
Here are the improvements you’ll be seeing in your People® system
(Remember, you may need to clear your cache for changes to take effect):

1. Confirmed By Admin
If HR need to confirm absences that are logged there is now a tick box that can be used to reflect this on the absence record.
2. Paid/Unpaid Sickness
On each absence record the following options are now available:
Paid at other rate
3. Emergency Leave
An emergency leave tick box has been added to absence entry.
If emergency is ticked then the holiday entitlement will be reduced by that amount of the absence duration. A history record is also created indicating why the amount has been reduced
4. Medical Tab
A new tab has been added on the absence pop-up called Medical; this is editable by Manager, Admin or Employee.
Doctor consulted, name, date and time of visit.
Medical certificate issued.
Advice given by doctor.
Medication prescribed that may impact performance at work and details how.
5. Return to Work
A return to work conducted by (free text field) has been added to the absence pop-up. Managers and Admin can complete this.
6. Print the Employee Planner
On the employee planner a print option has been added. The print options will show the following:
Absence Start Date
Absence End Date
Paid as Normal
7. Employee Photos
An option has been added to system settings (Company section). This will allow you to switch off the employee’s ability to add their own picture.
8. Manager Documents
An option has been added to system settings (Company section) to allow managers to add documents to the employee record. Managers can now also mail merge existing documents.
9. Employee Contact Details
An option has been added to system settings (Company section) to allow managers to view employee contact details (excluding bank details).
10. Include/exclude public holiday for employee
The option to include/exclude holidays by individual in now available. This setting will allow individual staff to have bank holidays included or excluded on their profile.
This takes precedence over the setting at company level.
11. Additional Line Managers
You can now allow up to 6 additional managers for an employee via the personal tab on the employees record.
The additional managers will have access to the employees record and will also see the employees on the company planner.
Any one of the new additional managers will be able to authorise leave requests.
12. Top Facts Report
An option has been added to system settings (Company section) to allow you to turn off the Top Fact report.
13. 1/4 Days holidays
It is now be possible to book ¼ of a day off.
