-Individual Entitlement Settings-

  1. First, access the relevant employees record

  2. Click on the planner option

  3. Click the blue settings button in the middle of the page, near the top

When you click this, you will see the below window:

Holiday Year?
The employee's holiday year rolling 12 month

Measured in?
Select if employee's entitlement measured in Days or Hours.

Contracted Hours?
The employee's contracted hours based on their work pattern

Full Time Hours?
Weekly hours worked by a full time employee

Full Time Entitlement?
The entitlement for a full time employee

This Year?
As an admin, you are able to edit this. If calculated by the system when adding the employee or changing their work pattern, this will show the employee's full entitlement for the year (if they started part way through the year this will be pro rated).

Next Year?
As an admin, you are able to edit this. This should be the employee's full entitlement for next year.

To learn more abut how the system calculates entitlement, please see: http://help.peoplehr.com/holiday-entitlements-requests/calculating-holiday-entitlement

-To update holiday entitlement via Bulk Actions-

This option should be used if you have already set how the employee's entitlement is measured has already been set (i.e. Days or Hours).

  1. Click the 'Bulk Actions' tab

  2. Open the 'Holiday and Other Events' section

  3. There are two options that will allow you to view and set employees holiday entitlements for this year or for next year.

Once you have chosen which year you wish to edit the entitlement for, you can select multiple employees at once. After selecting the employees and clicking next you are taken to a page that shows the employee's name, their holiday year, how their entitlement is measured, their current entitlement for the year and a box for you to enter their new entitlement.
