-- Admin Set Up--
The Employee Performance pidget provides administrators the ability to configure and set-up functionality within Access Employee Performance.
The pidget can be accessed by following the steps below:
FAQ: What is a pidget? A pidget is a full page inside Workspace, when a pidget is open in a tab no apps can be added.
Once you are in the Employee Performance pidget, you have a range of admin features, select the Admin tab on the left-hand side.
Below are the tabs explained in detail:
-- Initial Set Up --
Here you can set up your desired settings, to suit your company's needs, to do this select the tabs across the top for the specific areas:
Goals and Objectives
Company Goals:
Turn on Company Goals = Company Goals will be on for your organisation, this means that any open company goals added in the Company Goals tab will be visible to your employees. You then have the option to make Company Goals mandatory or optional for employees and managers when creating objectives.
Objective Feedback Settings: Here you can customise your company's feedback process on employee objectives.
There are three options:
Internal and External Feedback = Employees within your organisation as well as external email addresses.
Internal only = Only employee within your organisation.
No feedback = This settings will hide the request feedback functionality in the goals and objectives app.
The Check-Ins Set up:
Step 1
Set your check-in cycles to match your review periods.
Check-in reminders and reporting are based off the month that you set as the check-in period start month. Check-ins are scheduled to be due at the end of every 3-month period from the check-in period start month.
Example:
Clarity runs their reporting cycle for objectives from January to December. They set their Check-In Period Start Month as January.
Access Employee Performance calculates the check-in due dates as:
31 March
30 June
30 September
31 December
These dates are used when working out whether employees have completed check-in for a period in the reporting and when sending automated check-in reminders.
Step 2
Once a check-in month has been set and Saved you can add Reminders
There are three check-in reminder types:
Employee check-in: Employees who have access to Access Employee Performance, have a manager, and have not completed a check-in in the current period receive a check-in reminder.
Manager check-in: Managers who have access to Access Employee Performance and at least one of the employees reporting to them hasn't completed a check-in for the current period receive a check-in reminder.
Booked check-in: Employees receive a check-in reminder three days before their booked check-in is due.
You can set up automatic reminders to prompt employees and/or managers to check-in.
Select Add Reminder.
Select the number of weeks before the check-in due date.
Tick whether the reminder is for Employees and Managers.
Click Add Reminder.
See below the Users tab where individual or bulk First check-in dates can be set.
Path To Great:
By default, the Path To Great feature will be set to On, you do have the ability to switch this functionality Off. If switch Off users will be unable to view the path to great apps:
If switched on the below settings will be available:
Labels
The X and Y labels for the Path to Great chart can be amended from Performs and Engages to the text of your choice (limited to 30 characters).
Enable/Disable Publish
The ability for managers to Publish employees' scores can be disabled. The Enable/Disable Publish functionality allows an Access Employee Performance administrator to control when publish functionality is available to managers using Path to Great.
Note: Managers can still score and save or edit saved scores to reflect their employees' progress while publishing is disabled.
Select Background
Administrators can select one of three available backgrounds, any selection saved will be implemented across the whole organisation. Select the theme that suits your organisation best, for example, Weighted favors the X axis, and Curved favors the Y axis.

You can amend the labels against the Red, Yellow, Light Green and Dark Green colour bands key.
