To change the reporting line for an employee within People®, follow the steps below:

1. Access the employees record and click on the 'Personal' tab.

2. Scroll down and click on the dropdown list for 'Reports To', then select the appropriate employee from the list.

3. This will ask you for a reason for the change. E.g. promotion, current manager has left etc. Click on 'Save'.

4. You will then receive a prompt for several tasks, which you can select and add to your task manager. This will then appear as a task to remind you to complete this.
