As part of our ongoing security review with Rackspace Managed Security, we will be disabling support for TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1. This means we will only support TLS 1.2, which provides the strongest protection, and the most robust encryption, for your data. However, some older browser versions may not be compatible with this safer protocol.

To ensure no disruption to service, you may wish to make sure you are using one of the following browsers:

Many browsers not listed here will still support the new protocol, providing certain conditions are met. However, the above list will support TLS 1.2 by default. If you wish to continue using an older browser, you will need to make sure it is configured to support TLS 1.2.

What is TLS 1.2?

TLS stands for "Transport Layer Security". It is a protocol that protects your data when it is being transferred between two communicating applications. We use to it keep your data safe, while it is being transferred between the People HR application and your browser.

While older versions (TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1) offer a good degree of protection, they have become quite outdated, and could lead to vulnerabilities. TLS 1.2 is the latest version of the protocol, and offers the tightest security. The security of your data is our priority, and for this reason, we are only supporting TLS 1.2 going forward.
